ESTABROOKS, Peter Glendon Estabrooks
August 9, 1950 - December 19, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peter Estabrooks, of Lindsay, ON, who was called home to be with his Lord and Saviour on December 19, 2025.
Born in Sackville, New Brunswick, Peter was the son of the late Leonard Jr. and Shirley (Sears) Estabrooks. He is also predeceased by his eldest brother Leslie and is survived by his brother, Steven.
He is lovingly remembered by his devoted and loving wife Brenda, of 56 years, his daughter Kim and son Les (Jennifer), grandchildren Hailey, Coltin, Kyle, Devon, Kaitlyn (Shawn) and great-grandson, Gavin.
Peter spent his career at General Motors in Oshawa for 31 years. In retirement, he embraced the joy of his property on Pigeon Lake, a place where he could share his love of being outdoors, fishing and being on the water with his family and friends. It was a place that allowed him to create many memories with his children and grandchildren. After relocating to Lindsay, he took great joy in volunteering at his church and lending a helping hand to those in need.
Known for his devotion to family, steady presence, and generous heart, Peter will be remembered for the love he gave so freely and the memories he created. He leaves behind a family forever grateful for his guidance and unwavering love. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
Visitation will take place on January 2, 2026 from 11:30am – 1pm at Calvary Pentecostal Church, 125 Victoria St. N Lindsay ON. Funeral Service will be held immediately following visitation with a reception to follow. A private interment for family will take place following the service.
