EVANGELISTI, Shari Dawn Evangelisti

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of Shari on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at the age of 52.

Forever loved by her daughters Alicia and Julia (Promise). Cherished Grandmother to Lucas Gale. Beloved daughter of Gail Halsall and the late Thomas Halsall (2024). Lovingly remembered by her sisters Janice Spratt (Tim) and Tracy Moriarty (Patrick) and her many nieces and nephews.

Shari Dawn Evangelisti was a nurse with a compassionate heart who spent her life helping and comforting others. She found joy in being a grandma, caring for her animals, gardening and enjoying the sunshine outdoors.

She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, friend, and someone who brought warmth and kindness to everyone around her. Shari will be remembered for her smile, her strength, her love for her family, and the way she made people feel cared for and welcomed.

Cremation has taken place and the family will gather at a later date to honour Shari’s life.

As an expression of sympathy donations can be made to the Niagara SPCA and Humane Society or the Canadian Cancer Society.
