FABBRO, Elsie Fabbro

It is with profound heartbreak and sadness that we announce the passing of our much-loved mother and nonna, Elsie, at the FJ Davey Home on Monday, September 15, 2025 at the age of 94.

With her family by her side, as always, our beloved matriarch peacefully left this world to be welcomed into the arms of her Lord God. There, she is reunited with her cherished husband, Giulio (1993), and her loving parents, Frediano Barsanti and Maria (née Frugoli).

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in her children: Aldo (Lynne), Maria (Wayne), Frediano (Jane) and Raymond. Elsie was blessed with six grandchildren, whom she adored with all her heart: Ellen, Pamela, Nicholas, Michael, Steven and Jack. She was the stepdaughter of the late Giussepina (Beppa) Barsanti and daughter-in-law of the late Giovanna and the late Francesco Fabbro of Italy. Mom was predeceased by her five brothers: Orlando (late Eda), Odo (late Mary), Reno (late Stella), Victor (Monica), and Gino (late Gina). She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass to be held at St. Gregory’s Church at 1:00 p.m. with Father Trevor Scarfone officiating.  Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations to the SAH Complex Continuing Care Fund would be appreciated.
