It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Carmela Falasca on June 22, 2025, at the age of 82.

Born on August 23, 1942, in Torre de’ Passeri, Pescara, Italy, Carmela lived a life grounded in love, devotion, and quiet strength. She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband Alberto, who passed away on April 6, 2024. Together, they shared a lifetime of cherished memories and unwavering commitment.

Carmela was a devoted mother to Gabriele and Caterina (Attilio), and a proud and loving Nonna to Isabella and Dante. Her family was her greatest joy, and she leaves behind a legacy of warmth, resilience, and unconditional love.

She is survived by her dear brother Nicola and will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, and their families, as well as all who were blessed to know her.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Bernardo Funeral Homes, 2960 Dufferin Street, Toronto, on Friday, June 27, 2025, from 2–4 p.m. and 6–9 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 811 Lawrence Avenue West, on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 9:30 a.m. Carmela will then be laid to rest with her beloved Alberto at Westminster Cemetery, 5830 Bathurst Street.

Her gentle spirit and enduring love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
