FELSTEAD, Wendy Felstead

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Susan Felstead (née Cornish), who left this world peacefully on Friday, August 15th, in her 77th year, with her husband, son, daughter, and brother by her side.

Though her time with us ended too soon, her warmth, strength, and love will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.

Born on March 1st, 1949, in Toronto, Wendy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend. She will be remembered for her generous spirit, contagious laughter, and unwavering devotion to those she loved. She found joy in life’s simple pleasures and had a special place in her heart for dogs, companions who brought her comfort, happiness, and unconditional love throughout her life.

She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, William (Rick) Felstead; her children, Kris Felstead (Monika) and Dana Kuzmanovski (née Felstead); her cherished grandchildren, Jacob, Joshua, Gabriel, and Natalia Kuzmanovski; and her brother, Scott Cornish (Leslie), who will honour her memory with love and gratitude. She was predeceased by her parents, Harold and Muriel Cornish.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

Though our hearts are heavy, we take comfort in knowing that, through her steadfast lifelong relationship with Jesus, she is now, just as promised with the Lord. No more relentless pain or suffering.

Her spirit carries on in the love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the many lives she touched.

In accordance with Wendy’s wishes cremation has taken place.
