It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Tony Fernandes on April 16th, 2025 at the Madawaska Valley Hospice at the age of 78. He was a loving husband to Francisca, a cherished father to Ryan (Venus) and Jean-Pierre, adored grandfather to Noah, Elijah, Isaiah, and Mykah, and dear brother to Peter and Yolando.
Tony’s career as a graphic designer led him from India to Kuwait and finally to Canada where he ended his career having built a successful print and graphic company. He lived a life defined by his love for family, enriched by laughter, travels to Goa, peaceful moments at a lake fishing, cheering on soccer games, and delighting in a good meal.
His family finds comfort knowing his deep devotion to Our Lady of Perpetual Help has led him to the arms of our Heavenly Father, embraced by our Lord Jesus and sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
The family would like to thank the staff at St. Francis Memorial Hospital and the staff and volunteers at Madawaska Valley Hospice in Barry’s Bay for the compassionate care of Tony.
