FINNIE, Ethel Gibson Finnie

Passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 11th, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Hospital in Bowmanville, ON.

Ethel was preceded in death by her husband William “Bill” Finnie, and is lovingly survived by her daughter Tracy (Finnie) Trickett and her grandson, Mark Trickett along with many nieces and nephews.

Ethel was an avid reader of murder mystery books, music and loved the theater. Born in Aberdeen, Scotland, she embarked on an adventure with her husband Bill to leave their homeland and begin a new life in Canada. Everyone who had an opportunity to meet Ethel discovered a warm smile, friendly heart and beautiful soul with dignity and grace.

Friends and family are invited to Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home for visitation on Thursday September 25, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm with a service to follow at 2:00 pm.
