FLAHERTY, Richard Stephen Flaherty

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard Stephen Flaherty on April 22, at Dorothy Lee Hospice.

Richard Stephen Flaherty was born on September 30, 1946, in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia. He will be sorely missed by his devoted wife, Freda, his children, Marsha (Peter) and Stephen, along with his grandchildren, Andrew, Caitlin, and Matthew. He will also be fondly remembered by his numerous nieces and nephews.

Richard enjoyed cheering on his favourite hockey team, the Toronto Maple Leaf’s, as well as immersing himself in various jigsaw puzzles. He loved to spend his time with his family, whom he cherished greatly, never failing to be the biggest jokester in the room.
