FLOWERS, Garth Henry Flowers

He passed peacefully at Lakeridge Health Ajax / Pickering hospital. Beloved husband to Nancy for 32 years. Son of the late Mildred and Robert. Dear brother to Robert “Bob” (The late Marolyn), Laurence “Larry”. Loving uncle to Miriam (Ross), Michelle (Gerry), Mark (Heather), David (Val), Darryl (Katrina).

Garth Henry Flowers will be lovingly remembered for his passion for reading, his generous spirit, and his deep commitment to his community. He was especially devoted to his church, St. John’s Anglican Church, where he dedicated countless hours of service and fellowship. Garth also gave generously of his time through years of volunteer work with Community Care and Meals on Wheels, touching the lives of many through his kindness, compassion, and willingness to help others.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a memorial service at St. John’s on Saturday June 13th at 1:00 p.m. Reception to follow. Since Garth loved the colour blue we encourage everyone to wear blue to his service.
