FRANCIS, Irene Elizabeth Francis

Passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday June 5, 2026 at the Ross Memorial Hospital Lindsay, in her 93rd year. Predeceased by her husband George Francis (1999). Dear mother of Donald (Nancy), and Karen (Peter) Vanderklugt. Loving grandmother of Jason (Melanie), Sharon Bellwood (Jim), Amy Vanderklugt (Tom), Anna Martin (Kevin).

Great-Grandmother of David, Ryan, Megan, Isaac, Aiden, Kaylee, Kody, McKenna, and Colton. Sister of Laurel Waines (Fred), Wayne (Ruth), Earl (Debbie). Predeceased by siblings Jim, Dolly, Larry, Frank, Ed, and Glen.Irene Elizabeth Francis is survived by many nieces and nephews. Irene was a long-time member of the Gamebridge Women’s Institute, and Knox Presbyterian Church, Gamebridge.

Visitation will be held at the Mangan Funeral Home on Friday July 3rd from 11a.m. until time of memorial service at 12 noon. Interment to follow at Stone Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made by cheque through the Mangan Funeral Home to the Gamebridge Women’s Institute or to the Knox Presbyterian Church Gamebridge.
