FRANK, Alexa Frank

Passed away peacefully at London University Hospital on Monday, January 26, 2026. Born in Kapuskasing, Ontario on July 3, 1942, Janet Alexandria May Frank (née Bye) of Owen Sound, was in her 84th year.

Beloved wife of the late Stanley Frank. Loving mother of Lisa Hrycak (Patrick) and Sandra Stephen (Brian), both of Owen Sound and Scott Frank (Becky), of Walkerton. Cherished grandma of Taylor, Thomas, Brandan, Ian, Owen and Gabriella and great-grandma of Ilyanna. Alexa will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Roy and Violet Bye (née Dunn), her brother Alvin Bye, and by her brothers and sisters-in-law Albert Frank, Dorothy Seaman, Gladys Gault, and Harold Frank.

Alexa was a proud Registered Nurse whose life was defined by care, dedication, and service to others. She found her greatest joy in loving and supporting her children and grandchildren, especially cheering them on through their sports and encouraging them as they pursued their dreams and life goals. Alexa was deeply involved in her community, taking part in 4-H clubs, and livestock activities. She loved to bake and was known for her apple pie and garden cheese dip. An avid reader and passionate gardener, she especially loved the fall fair, where she delighted in flower arrangement competitions and classes. Her kindness, creativity, and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

A come and go memorial visitation will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St. W., Owen Sound, 519-376-7492, on Wednesday, February 4, 2026, from 12–2 p.m.
