Frank, Wilfred (Wilf) 22-March-1932- 07 July 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Wilfred Frank On Monday July 7, 2025, at Lakeridge health Oshawa.

Wilf was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn Marie Frank (Killen) for 64 years. He was the cherished father to David (Terry), Steven (Barbara) and Anne.

He was a proud papa to Trevor, Justine (Jonathan), Gary (Samantha) and Courtney (Jesse) and a dear great – papa to Jace, Jonah, Ellie and Josie. Wilf will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by his extended family and friends.

Wilf was predeceased by his wife Marie, parents Gustav and Susanna, brothers Fred, Clarence and Gerald and sisters Alwina and Phyllis.

Wilf was born in the Rural Municipality of Franklin, Manitoba. After helping the family on the farm, at the young age of 18, Wilf applied to become a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) officer. Wilf proudly served as a dedicated officer (Sargent) with the RCMP for 29 years. During this time – he served 2 tours on the RCMP Musical Ride. After he retired from the RCMP, he worked for Canada Packers (now known as Maple Leaf Foods) for 10 years when he permanently retired. After retirement, he learned wood carving and took several ribbons at wood craving shows.

In keeping with Wilf’s wishes, cremation has taken place with a private family ceremony. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday August 16, 2025 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm at Northcuttelliot Funeral Home 53 Division St Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 2Z8
