With a deep sense of sorrow and heavy hearts, our family announces the passing of Canadian Air Force Veteran, Linda Madeline Frotten, beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Linda passed away due to a sudden illness on Sunday March 16th, 2025 at Hospice Quinte at the age of 84.
Born May 4, 1940 in London, England, she moved to Canada at a very young age. She was a cherished matriarch to her family, always known for a positive outlook on life, her warmth, kindness and love towards family and friends, as well as her love of sports, especially curling and golf.
She leaves behind her loving husband of sixty-four years, Joseph “Gus” Augustin Frotten, her three children, Stephen, Karen and Mark Frotten, eight grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and her four sisters, Anne Gosse, Susan Isaac, Marion Blundell and Janice Isaac.
In her own recent words, “I had a real good life, I wouldn’t have changed anything and would do it all over again if I could. My love to all of you.”
We will all miss you dearly and will never forget your positive outlook, kindness, friendship and your love! A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at Weaver – East, 29 Bay St., Trenton on Saturday April 5th, 2025 from 1:00 – 3:00 pm.
