GARLAND, Joan Garland

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Garland (Carleton Place, Ontario), who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 90. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joan Garland to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her siblings, Norma and John. She is survived by: her significant other Bruce; her children, Trudy (Dave), David (Michelle) and Susan (Stephan); her grandchildren, Ben, Evan (Jaime), Ivy and Jake (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Logan, Hannah and Emma; and her sisters, Helen Mills and Betty Birtch.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 17th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Barker Funeral Home (19 MacArthur Ave, Carleton Place, ON K7C2W1).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be considered to Munster Union Cemetery or a charity of your choice.
