He passed away on March 2, 2026 at 8:48 p.m. at the Haliburton Hospital in his 98th year with his friends Janet and Lee by his side. He was predeceased by his wife Helen. James was a very proud Korean War veteran, drove coach buses for many years and was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 624 in Wilberforce. James was a long-time resident of Tory Hill, Ontario. After a car accident he moved to the Gardens in Haliburton and then to Extendicare. He will be missed by his many friends
As per James’ wishes, cremation has taken place with a Spring interment. Once a date is set, notification will be made through newspapers and Canoe Radio.
