Dennis John Gayton

It is with deep sadness that the family of Dennis John Gayton announce his peaceful passing at Quinte Hospice on Monday, May 11, 2026, at the age of 80.

Dennis is now reunited with his beloved wife and best friend, Karen Gayton, whom he adored deeply. Loving father of Kevin (Juls) and Jeff. Cherished grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Predeceased by his parents, Sidney and Gertrude Gayton, and his siblings Glenn and Barbara.

Dennis will be lovingly remembered by his brothers Raymond (Brenda) and Sidney “Bruce”.

A special thank you to the staff at Hospice Quinte. In memory of Dennis, memorial donations made to Hospice Quinte would be appreciated by the family.  Cremation has been entrusted to Milestone Cremation Service. A Celebration of Life will be held by his son Kevin and his wife Juls, along with Dennis’s brother’s Bruce and Ray on Saturday, June 20, 2026  at the Wellington Legion from 1pm- 5pm.
