GEEN, Stewart Cameron Geen

Died peacefully at home on July 25, 2026.  Born April 7, 1929, to Cecil and Annie Geen in Buffalo, New York, he married Donna Jean Kemp in 1954, and they moved to Paris to become high-school teachers.  Stewart Cameron Geen eventually became the principal of Paris District High-School, and later a Superintendent of Education for Brant County. He was also a regular columnist for the Paris Star newspaper. Stewart is survived by his two sons, Andrew and Jonathan, his daughter-in-law Claudia, and his two grandchildren, Willow and Emily.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother, Robert Geen.

Friends will be welcomed at the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home, 1105 Rest Acres Road, Paris, Ontario, on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, from 2 to 4 p.m. A private family service will follow. In Stewart’s memory, donations to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by his family.
