GIGUERE, Doris Ann Giguère

The family announces with great sorrow her death on Monday September 15, 2025 at the Timmins and District Hospital at the age of 61 years.

She was predeceased by her husband Camille Giguère.

Cherished mother to Derek Giguere (Isabelle) and Jessica Corriveau (Roch), loving companion to Raymond Renaud and beloved grandmother to Riley, Benjamin, Cameron, Cora-Jade and Parker. She is also survived by her sisters and brothers Ronald Bertrand (Louise), Jason Bertrand (Lori), Bill Kennelly (Keitha), Martin Kennelly (Lea), Connie Kennelly (Howard), Janice Merenger and Sharleen Cable (Mike) her sister-in-law Sharleen Kennelly, her cousin and best friend Shelly Kennelly; her mother-in-law Cécile Giguère and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Giguère family as well as several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her mother Irene Bertrand, her father Ronald Bertrand, her grand-parents Zelma Kennelly and Cornelius Kennelly, her bothers Maurice Kennelly, Gerald Kennelly, Clayton Kennelly and Roger Kennelly (late Paula); her sister Marilyn Smith as well as her father-in-law Emilien Giguère.

The family wish to thank all the staff at Timmins and District Hospital and a special thank you to the nurse from Hospice, Marie-Josée Long and mom’s family doctor, Dr. William Yates for their excellent care and compassion.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday September 19, 2025, from 1pm to 3pm at LESSARD Reception Centre. Remembrance donations to the Timmins and District Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
