Gilbert 'Gil' William Green of Hamilton, Ontario died on October 11, 2026, his 85th birthday. Born October 11, 1941, he was predeceased by his parents Alfred and Margaret Green, his wife Isabel, and siblings Jack and Ruth. He is survived by his children James, Ruth and Donald, along with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation and a memorial service are scheduled at Marlatt Funeral Home & Cremation Centre in Dundas, with donations to Emmanuel House Hospice suggested in lieu of flowers.
