It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Roger on March 1, 2026, in his 67th year at the Norfolk General Hospital. Loving husband of Elizabeth Robbins for 43 wonderful years. Beloved son of Betty (Gary) and the late Charles. Dear daughter Tammy (Matt), son Ron, Karen, and Angel. Proud grandpa of Cassandra (Johnny), Kaylee, and Shanel. Survived by his siblings Walter (Tammy), Doug (Ruby), Tara (Bryan), and Paul (Carrie). Predeceased by his brothers Andy and Albert and his dogs Reno and Kasper. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service to celebrate Roger’s life will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026, at 2: 00 PM at JASON SMITH FUNERAL CHAPEL, 689 Norfolk St. N, Simcoe. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to Diabetes Canada would be appreciated.
