GLASPELL, Wesley Glaspell

Passed away peacefully on June 7, 2026 at the age of 71. Loving husband of Leslie, cherished father of Derek (Amanda), and a beloved brother and brother-in-law. Wesley will be missed by many close family and friends.
At a young age, Wesley was a Queen Scout and continued to love the outdoors throughout his lifetime. He enjoyed snowmobiling in his younger years and there was never a hill too big to climb.
He always had a passion for farming. He was content driving a tractor as he ploughed or cultivated a field. Cows and sheep were always a part of his life. He enjoyed showing sheep at the various fairs and was a certified sheep judge, always stating he was a better sheep judge than Leslie! Leslie never agreed!
Wesley Glaspell was also a 4H leader and a mentor to young people. He took pleasure in working at Gagnon Sports in his later years. He loved telling many stories and had a hearty laugh that brought joy to many. He loved having conversations and many times was the last to leave but it truly gave him enjoyment. He always had the time for a visit.
Wesley loved spending time with people, and anyone that met him felt comfortable and at ease. He was so proud of watching Derek’s accomplishments. He loved auctions, outdoor farm shows and an enjoyable visit to the cottage.We would like to thank the staff at Hillsdale Estates and especially Lavender Lane for their care and compassion. They truly became a part of Wesley’s extended family.
