Peacefully at Marianhill Hospice on Friday, April 17th 2026, at the age of 70 years. Nancy Mary Gleason (née Lapierre) of Sheenboro, beloved wife of Larry Gleason. Loving mother of Kaleigh (Todd Konschuh), Kyle (Jose Sedano) and Kelsey (Zach Kranenburg). Doting Nan of Alice, Charlotte, Jackson, Vivian and Archer.
Nancy lived a life defined by an unwavering joy and a profound devotion to her husband, children & grandchildren. She moved through the world with a vibrant spirit, embracing every moment and cherishing the deep bonds she shared with those closest to her.
A woman of remarkable determination, Nancy allowed no obstacle to stand in the way of her ambitions. After retirement, and graduating from university, she channeled her passion for service into founding her own legal business—a testament to her lifelong commitment to helping others navigate their most difficult challenges. Her professional success was fueled by the same selflessness that defined her personal life; she was a constant source of support for anyone in need. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched, and she will be deeply missed by the countless people impacted by her kindness, strength, and grace.
Above all, Nancy’s greatest treasure was her family. The love she held for her grandchildren was truly beyond compare. She found her greatest joy in their love, laughter and happiness.
Her family would like to thank the staff at Marianhill Hospice for the care and compassion provided, the close family & friends who supported her there, and a special thank you to Father Bill Kenny for his continued spiritual care and the comfort he provided during Nancy’s time in hospice.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2026 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Paul the Hermit Church, Sheenboro on Thursday, April 23rd, 2026 at 11 a.m. Interment of Ashes in St. Paul The Hermit Cemetery, Sheenboro. As an expression of sympathy, donations to Marianhill Hospice or Friends of Peru would be appreciated. Online Condolences may be left at www.nevillefuneralhome.ca
