It is with deep sadness that the family of Artur Goertz announces his passing on October 6, 2025, in Niagara Falls, surrounded by his loving family. He was 87 years old.

Artur was predeceased by his first wife, Ingrid Goertz (née Wiens), and is survived by his wife Ruth Goertz (née Langer). He will be deeply missed by his children Paul (Rose), Dave (Rose), and Rudy (Jennifer); and remembered with love by his grandchildren: Amy (Rick) and their children Oliver, Dakota, and Huxley; Angela (Max) and their children Chloe, Logan, and Miles; Sarah (Peter); Alex; Luke (Madison); Emma, and Cole.

Artur is also survived by his sister, Ana-Maria, and his brother Herman.

A man of steadfast faith and quiet strength, Artur lived his life devoted to his family and the Lord. His kindness, warmth, and unwavering love will be fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Visitation will take place at Tallman Funeral Home (3277 King St.) on Thursday, October 9, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Friday, October 10, at 3:00 p.m.
