Angel Marqueses Gonzales passed away on February 6, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at the age of 83.
Beloved father of Angelo (Grace), Wilhelm (Judy), Marie Joza, Kirk Pierre, Valenta, and Lynn (Aaron).
Proud grandfather to Alex, Chris, Jillian, Katryna, Brett, and Olivia.
Angel, lovingly known as “Mark,” was the cherished son of the late Rosendo Gonzales, a soldier who gave his life in World War II between 1942-1945, and Arcadia Marqueses, who passed in 1978.
Mark was an excellent cook, preparing wonderful Filipino dishes and Italian cuisine, always sharing meals with family and friends.
A passionate sports fan, he loved the Blue Jays and was an avid fisherman, particularly fond of catching and cooking walleye.
He enjoyed summer barbeques and treasured time spent at family gatherings.
Mark dedicated over 33 years of his life as an ER nurse, always prioritizing his family’s well-being.
Mark will be greatly missed by his large extended family and many friends.
A visitation will be held in memory of Angel Marqueses Gonzales on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at McEachnie Funeral Home in Ajax from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM.
A dinner reception will follow after the service.
