It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hélène Goulet on June 14, 2025, at the age of 63. Hélène passed peacefully at Hospice Care Ottawa, where she spent her final days surrounded by care and compassion.
Hélène was predeceased by her beloved husband Daniel Drainville, her brother Denis, and her parents Gilles Goulet and Lina Rossier. She is survived by her devoted son Erick (Kate) and her loving daughter Julie (Marco), who provided exceptional care. Though she left too soon, she would have been a warm and loving Mamie to grandsons Jack and Daniel.
She also leaves behind her sisters Johanne and Amélie, her brother Alain, as well as several brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many cherished friends. Hélène’s dear friend Doris remained by her side until her final breath.
Hélène was known for her gentle heart and strong spirit. Her presence brought light and love to everyone she met, and her memory will live on in those who were fortunate to know her.
Donations in Hélène’s memory may be made to Hospice Care Ottawa, where she found comfort in their day program and exceptional support during her final journey.
