GREVILLE, Laura Greville

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Laura Greville on June 25, 2026, at the age of 60. Born on July 7, 1965, in Port Colborne, Ontario, Laura spent most of her life in Welland, Ontario. After a long and courageous battle with illness, Laura is finally free from pain and at peace. Laura was predeceased by her beloved common-law partner, Tim Sockett. She will be lovingly remembered by her sons: Jason Smith (Tumara), Terry Smith (Helen), and Christopher Smith (Samantha). She was also a proud grandmother to Austin, Carson, Emerly, McKenna, Hunter, AudreyMae, LillyAnne, Cian, and WillaRose, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Laura found her greatest joy in caring for others. She loved cooking and baking, and no one ever left her home hungry. Whether she was preparing a family meal or baking something sweet, sharing food was her way of showing love. She also enjoyed taking scenic drives, appreciating the beauty of the world around her and the simple moments in life. Laura will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and determination throughout the many challenges she faced. Despite years of illness, she continued to face each day with courage. Those who knew her find comfort in knowing she is finally free from pain and reunited with Tim. The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to Laura’s dedicated care workers, whose compassion, kindness, and unwavering support brought her comfort and dignity throughout her illness. A special thank you to Brenda Irvine for her friendship, compassion, and steadfast support. Your kindness and care will always be remembered with deep gratitude. Laura’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. At her request, cremation has taken place.
