Passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, September 7, 2025 in her 91st year. Loving wife of the late James A. Haggerty (2017), dear mother of Brenda Armstrong and Colleen (Les) Tippett, proud grandmother of Lindsay (Brandon) Galipeau, Hunter (Nhi) Tippett and Hailey (Mitchell) Tippett, great grandmother of Lauren and Kaia, sister of Donald Hurst and Gary Hurst. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, she was predeceased by her parents Verna and Frederick Hurst, her sister Marilyn Fulop and her brother Gordon Hurst.
Marjorie enjoyed her time at the family cottage, fishing in her younger years. She also enjoyed needlework and knitting and was always doing puzzles in her spare time. Her greatest enjoyment was watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren growing up.

A private family service will be held at the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOME, 135 Clarence Street, Port Colborne followed by interment at Overholt Cemetery. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario.
