HANSEN, James Harold Dennis Hansen

Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 6, 2026 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Diane, and loving father of Jennifer Foster (Chris) and Amanda Bazinet (Todd). Caring grandfather of Deven & Brandon Foster and Owen & Andrew Bazinet. James Harold Dennis Hansen will be sadly missed by his mother Raymonde Brousseau, his brother and best friend Tom and sisters Sue Hansen and Lynn Venezia (George). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Thomas Hansen, by his sister Cathy McPhee and infant brother Robert.

Born in Montreal, Quebec Jim and Diane moved to Port Colborne in 1974, where they raised two beautiful daughters. Retired from John Deere after 30 years, Jim cherished the friendships he made along the way. He had a love for race cars and a passion for fishing. Jim’s greatest joy was spending time with his 4 grandsons. He will be forever missed, and will always be in our hearts.

Cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to the ARMSTRONG FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 179 Clarence Street, Port Colborne. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Therese of Lisieux Catholic Church on Friday, June 12, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Rite of Committal will follow Mount St. Joseph Cemetery.
