HAROLD , Michael Anthony Harold

Mike Harold Sr. born June 8, 1956, in Newmarket, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the age of 69 at Oak Ridges Hospice on August 31, 2025.

Mike was the beloved son of the late Harley Harold and Dorothy Harold. The youngest of a large family, he will be deeply missed by his siblings Ted (Carol), Predeceased by Sandra, David (Patty), Melina, Predeceased by Jimmy (Hope), Darlene (Tom), Bill (Lynda), Predeceased by Paul (Patti), Donna (Gill), and Pat (Sue). As well as many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

He was the devoted husband of Donnell and the proud father of Donna, Krista (Peter), and Michael. He will forever be cherished by his grandchildren Brendan, Kayla, Emma, Hunter, Brooke, and Hazel, who will always remember his humor, sarcastic personality, and love. Mike also leaves behind his faithful dog, Willow, who rarely left his side.

Michael will be remembered for his hard work, his devotion to family, and his quick wit. He had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and old cars, and especially loved going on motorcycle trips with his brothers. He also had a knack for customizing anything his kids had, making their bikes, toys, or rides bigger and faster—just to see their faces. He spent countless hours working on his bikes, cars, and even his boat—often more time fixing and perfecting them than riding or using them—but always with pride and joy.

His legacy of strength, laughter, and dedication will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.

Please join us to celebrate Mike’s life on Sunday, September 14th, between 1-5 p.m. at the Beaverton Legion, 517 Mara Rd, Beaverton.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry, who cared for Mike so well in his final days, or to SickKids, Mike always had a soft spot for kids and never wanted to see them suffer.
