It is with sadness that the passing of Harout Mentcherian of North York, Ontario is shared. Harout, born on April 22, 1935, passed away on October 30, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hagop Mencherian and Efronia Mencherian; his siblings, Emmanuel Muncherian (late Arevelouys) and Lydia Nercessian (late Avedis); his spouse Faris; and his granddaughter Lara Arabatlian.
He is survived by: his sister Hermine Atmekjian (late Hagop); his children, Ara Mentcherian (Patti-Jean) and Ronia Arabatlian (Ohannes); and his granddaughter Celine.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Paul O’Connor Funeral Home (1939 Lawrence Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1R2Y8). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
