It is with profound sadness that the family of Charles (Fred) Harrison announce his passing at the age of 89. Surrounded by love and family, Fred will be deeply missed by those who had the pleasure of knowing him. Fred is now reunited with his beloved wife Margaret.
Predeceased by his parents William and MaryAnn (née Dry), devoted father of Mark (Julie) and Stephan. Treasured grandfather of Johnathan and Carter. Cousin and uncle to many scattered across Canada and overseas.
Fred had a passion for giving and volunteer work as shown through his dedication and hard work at the St. Vincent de Paul food bank over the decades. Fred is remembered for his playful attitude and playful nature.
The family would like to extend their gratitude for the hard work and dedicated nature of all the nurses and staff of Birch 2 who helped in his care at the FJ Davey Home over the last 4 years.
A private family graveside will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the FJ Davey Home Residence Council or to St. Vincent de Paul would be greatly appreciated by the family.
