Faith Elizabeth Hartung

Passed away surrounded by her family at the Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Friday April 10, 2026 at the age of 83 years. Loved and missed by her husband of 64 years; Gary. Beloved mom of Ian (Kara) and Kevin (Carol Gibson). Cherished Grandma to Ryan (Crystal), Matthew and Joshua and the late Crosby and great grandma to Ally. Also remembered by her sister-in-law Jutta Hartung (Wilson Bellman) and by all of her extended family and friends.

Faith Elizabeth Hartung was born in Toronto to Bill and Grace Banks. As a little girl she enjoyed going to summer camp and swimming at Sunnyside pool where she met her sweetheart Gary. They honeymooned in Niagara Falls. She loved to sing in the choir and enjoyed dancing. They raised their two boys in Westhill, Scarborough and later moved to Port Perry on 10 acres. Faith worked for a lawyers office in the GTA and later worked at the Port Perry Hospital for many years. After work she would come home and take care of her grandsons which she enjoyed. Faith spent many years up at the cottage with family at Stoney Lake. She loved to spend time in her garden and enjoyed wool rug hanging crafting. Faith was a devoted mother and loved her grandsons very much. She was always kind and loving to others, donating to many charities. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held at Low & Low Funeral Home, 1763 Reach Street, Port Perry on Saturday April 18, 2026 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 12:00 PM.  Interment to follow at Prince Albert Pine Gove Cemetery with reception to follow.
