HARTWIG, Kevin Hartwig

Passed away surrounded by love on March 22 2026 at Marigold Hospice in Newcastle.

He is survived by his best friend and wife Cindy MacDonald. Proud father of Jake; stepchildren Amanda (Jordan) and Dylan;

and much loved “pooba “of Lydia and Delilah.

Forever loved by his father Melvin and his late mother Rosemary Hartwig, his siblings Michele (Kevin) and Scott, nephew

Liam and niece Alana.

Kevin Hartwig was a committed and hardworking power lineman for over 25 years setting a standard for leadership and dedication to his workplace.

He will fondly be remembered by his brothers of Local #353.

Sincere thank you to Dr. Corpus, Dr. Burke, the palliative care team at LHO, and for the love and support for Kevin and his family at Marigold Hospice.

Visitation will be held at Northcutt Elliott 53 Division Street Bowmanville on April 2 2026 at 11:00 am – 12:00 followed by a service of remembrance.

The family invites you to join them for a luncheon at Rebekah Hall in Orono after the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Kevin’s memory to Marigold Hospice in Newcastle.

If we know only one thing, it is that we will miss you forever, until we meet again.
