Peacefully passed away, in her sleep, on October 22, 2026 at John M. Parrott Long Term Care Home in Napanee.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Ken. Loving mother of Greg and his wife Tracy. Cherished grandmother of Ashley and Carter. Dear sister of Rita (Ralph), Ted (Gloria), and Ken (Val).
Helen Ruth Podmore had a love for crafts, especially knitting. She generously shared her talents by knitting hats for donation, bringing warmth and comfort to others through her thoughtful creations.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026 from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 12 p.m. Interment Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens.
