HEPBURN, Bernard Leonard Hepburn

We are saddened to announce the passing of Bernard Leonard Hepburn at the age of 97. Bernie passed away peacefully at Willett Hospital in Paris, Ontario, on November 29, 2025. Predeceased by parents Leonard Hepburn and Irene Mack; loving wife Agnes Isgro (2021); siblings Lorne, Harry, Florence, Marie, Marjorie, Rita and Lorraine and infant grandson Ian. Bernie is survived by sons Gary Hepburn (Janet), Michael Hepburn (Angela) and daughter Donna Hepburn-Kennedy (John); grandchildren Jordi Hepburn (Jonathan), Jonathan Hepburn (Jana), Colin Hepburn, Gillian Hepburn, Jeffrey Quinlan (Kim), Timothy Quinlan, Sarah Kennedy (Jamie) and great-grandchildren Simon, William, Anna, Samuel, and Kori. Bernie grew up in Prince Edward County and Toronto and married the love of his life, Agnes, in 1951. In Toronto, Bernie worked at Brunt Manufacturing.

They moved, with children Gary and Donna to Paris, Ontario, in 1964 and then in 1966, Michael was born. Bernie owned and managed nursing homes in Paris and Brantford until his retirement. He loved to watch old movies, read the paper, keep up on news and sports so that he could discuss the Jays and Leafs with all who were interested. He loved to joke around with others and had a quick smile. Many thanks to the caring staff at Willett Transitional Unit. Cremation has taken place.
