HERRIMAN, Tracey Lynn Herriman

With deep love and heavy hearts, we announce the sudden passing of Tracey Lynn Herriman (née Laackman) on Friday, July 31, 2026, at the age of 52.

Tracey was the beloved wife and soulmate of James Kirk Herriman, and the devoted and forever-loved mother of DJ Herriman (Lauren) and Nick Herriman. She was the cherished daughter of Sharon Laackman, the loving sister of Mark Laackman, and a treasured daughter-in-law of Kirk Sr. and Jean Herriman. Tracey will be lovingly remembered by her brother-in-law Steve Herriman (Leah), her adored nephew Oscar, as well as her extended family and dear friends. She was predeceased by her father, Dave Laackman, and her brother, Chris Laackman.

Tracey was loved by everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her boundless love for her family and friends, combined with her vibrant spirit, left a lasting impression on all whose lives she touched. She approached life with curiosity, enthusiasm, and a genuine sense of wonder, embracing every opportunity to create meaningful memories. As the saying goes, life is measured not by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away—a sentiment that perfectly reflected the way Tracey lived.

Kind-hearted and compassionate, Tracey was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Her greatest pride and joy, however, were her sons, DJ and Nick. They were far more than her children—they were her heroes. She loved them unconditionally and devoted herself wholeheartedly to supporting and encouraging them in every path they chose. Tracey also shared a special bond with her nephew, Oscar, whom she adored and loved beyond measure.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Dwayne D. Budgell Funeral Home. Following Tracey’s wishes, a Private Family Graveside Service will be held at Paris Cemetery. In Tracey’s memory, donations to St. Joseph’s Lifecare Centre would be appreciated by her family.
