Peacefully, and surrounded by family, John “Jack” Hicks passed away at home on July 8, 2025, in his 89th year. Beloved husband of Mary Lou Hicks for 65 wonderful years. Cherished father of Nancy Hicks, Steve (Rosemary) Hicks, and Sandra (Tom) Taylor. Proud grandfather of Alexandra (Paul), Grace, Nathan, and Thomas. Predeceased by his sister, Lorraine Pitblado. Jack will be deeply missed by his extended family and many friends.
As per Jack’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, July 28, 2025, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Texas Longhorn Ranch. Words of remembrance will be shared at 5:30 p.m.
