Passed away at his home on Monday October 27th, 2025 at the age of 98. Much loved husband of Doreen Hicks for 72 years. Loved and respected Dad of Edna Scott and her husband Texas, Allan Hicks and his wife Brenda, Raymond Hicks and his wife Helene, Lois Davis and her husband Dave. Pre-deceased by his son Ronald.
Cherished Grandfather of Cameron (Rebbecca), Jeffrey (Lisa), Danielle (Trey), Logan, Tyler, Frazer, Andrew, Joel (Carlie) and Ashley (Chris).
Great Grandfather of Mia, Charlie, Henry, Charlotte, Nora, Stella, Claire, Brooklyn and Chloe. Predeceased by his brothers Donald (late Lorna), Lester (Donna), Charles (Toots), Harold, and his sister Helen (late Alvin.) And lovingly remembered by his brother Maurice (late Elizabeth). Fondly remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.
Reg was a proud life member of the Kinsman Club of Oshawa.
Visitation at Barnes Memorial Funeral Home, 5295 Thickson Rd N Whitby on Friday October 31st from 11 am until time of service in the Barnes Chapel Friday at 12:00 Noon.
Interment will follow at Ingoldsby on Saturday November 1st. (Time of interment will be announced once confirmed.)
