HINES, Elizabeth Ann (née Edwards) – passed away at home on Sunday, June 29, 2025, in her 65th year. Beloved wife of the late Edgar “Ed” Hines (1994). Loving mother of Sarah Hines (Chris) and Amanda Hines.
Cherished grandmother of Grace Hines (Randy Laporte), Michael Hines, Bryden Hines, Olivia Hines, Elizabeth Hines, Raven Darrall, Evelyn Hines, Reese Darrall, and Wesley Hines; and great-grandmother of Iris Hines-Vail and Scarlett Laporte.
Fondly remembered by her stepchildren Brenda Lecompte (late Norm), Debbie Hines (Peter), Patty Boily (Roger), Sandy Brochu (Norm), Mark Hines (Jenn), the late Michael Hines, and their families. Dear sister of Brendan Edwards (Liz) and missed by her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents John and Cynthia Edwards.
The family will receive friends at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, 241 West Main Street, Welland, on Friday, July 4, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a service to celebrate her life in the Cudney Chapel at 1 p.m. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
