HOOGSTEEN, Alice Hoogsteen

Alice Hoogsteen passed away peacefully on Friday June 27, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa.

Beloved wife to Sid Hoogsteen for almost 64 years and devoted mother to Marie, Jeff (Ruby), Amy (Darryl) and Rob(Maryann).

She was a loving and adored Grandma to 13 grandchildren and dear Big Grandma to 37 great grandchildren.

Alice was a treasured sister to 6 brothers and 5 sisters as well as her 5 brothers in law and 3 sisters in law.

She will be deeply missed by her many loved ones and leaves behind cherished memories.

Family and Friends are invited for a Visitation and a time of remembering which will be held on Thursday July 3rd, 2025 at Maranatha Christian Reformed Church, 2805 Hwy 2 East, Bowmanville, ON at 12:00 p.m. followed by a service which will begin at 1 p.m.

The family invites guests to join them for a reception following the service.

As per Alice’s wishes, cremation has taken place and the family will be holding a private graveside ceremony.

If desired, memorial donations can be made to Participation House.
