Suddenly on Tuesday, August 19, 2025 at the Lakeridge Health Centre in Bowmanville, at age 56. Dan Hope, companion and best friend of Pam Kruggel. Loved son of Dorothy (nee Thompson) and the late Roy Hope of Prince Albert. Dear brother of Ann Ostafichuk (the late Greg), Rick Hope, Lori Cross (Dino and the late Andy), Troy Hope and Darrin Hope (Kebbie). Dan will be missed by Pam’s children Sarah (Brendan) and Scott (Dan), her grandson Grayson (who called him “Grampa Dan”), her parents Bill and Nancy Robertson and her brother Stuart (Michelle).

The Family of Dan Hope will receive friends at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Monday, August 25^th from 7 – 9 p.m. A Service to celebrate his life will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 26^th at 11 a.m. Interment Pine grove Cemetery in Prince Albert. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Bowmanville Hospital Foundation.
