Kathleen “Kay” Isabelle Hopkins, age 90, of Oshawa, Ontario, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024. Beloved wife of the late Harold “Hoppy.” Loving mother of Larry (Linda), Terry, Karen (Steve Fracz), Brian (Linda), and Julie (Bob Chapman). Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Ashley, Zach, Cole, Tyler, Amanda, Laura, and Brett, and her great-grandchildren Brooks, Lainey, Elliott, Harrison, and Ethan.
Dear sister of Joan and Carol and predeceased by Norris, Butch, and Joyce. Kay will be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held at the Oshawa Funeral Home, 847 King St. W., Oshawa (905-721-1234) on Thursday, January 2, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Oshawa, on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 10:30 am. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Whitby.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Lakeridge Health Foundation would be appreciated.
