After a long battle at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Sunday January 25, 2026, in his 100th year. Beloved husband of the late Monica and previously the late Anne. Father of Anne-Margaret and stepfather of Shereen (Alex), Therese and Tashia. Sam will be missed by extended family and friends both in Canada and Scotland especially nephew Billy McFarland. A special thank you to doctors, nurses and staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa for all their care and compassionate support, especially Lisa-Marie.
