Ian touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Ian’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Rhona; his daughter Tara; his son-in-law Frank (Fiona); and his grandchildren, Owen and Luca.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bay Gardens Funeral Home – Hamilton Chapel (947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton, ON L8W3M2). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Sunday, November 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Cancer Assistance Program, an organization close to Ian’s heart, where he generously volunteered his time.
