Jackie was the beloved wife of Bruce for more than 35 years and the cherished mother of Jayme-Lynn (Cody) and Nicole. She is also remembered by her mother Sheila; brothers Ian (Sue) and Kevin; cousin Donnie, who was like a sister to her; and many nieces, nephews and extended relatives. Her father, Robert, predeceased her.
Her family remembers Jackie for her generous and compassionate heart. She made people feel welcome, valued and loved, and gave those closest to her unwavering support.
Career and celebration of life
Jackie is fondly remembered by the friends and colleagues she came to know during her 21-year career at Northumberland Hills Hospital.
Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Jackie’s life will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King Street East, Cobourg, on Saturday, October 17, 2026. The time will be announced by the funeral home when confirmed. Memorial donations may be made to Ed’s House Hospice.
