With heavy hearts, the family of Janice Steeves, announce her passing on September 28, 2026 at Northumberland Hills Hospital, at the age of 66.
Beloved wife of James Kelman. Loving mother of Crystal, Amanda, Jeff, and Tom. Cherished grandmother of Austin, Dylan, Emma, and Olivia. Dear sister of Brenda, Todd, Glen, and Gary, and aunt of Tara. Janice will be sadly missed by her beloved fur-babies Lucie and Charlie.
Janice had a heart of gold and a natural gift for caring for everyone around her. She was like a mom to so many, always there with a listening ear, a helping hand, and, of course, one of her famous hugs-the kind of hug that seemed to make everything better. Her friends and colleagues were never just friends or coworkers; she welcomed them all as family.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, October 5, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Pine Grove Prince Albert Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Armstrong Funeral Home.
