He passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Knollcrest Lodge, Milverton. John resided at RR#2 Atwood and was born 87 years ago in Ellice township. He was the son of the late Claytus and Fannie (Lebold) Jantzi.Beloved husband of the late Leona (Kuepfer) Jantzi who predeceased him October 7, 2010. Dear father of Harold & Miriam Jantzi of Atwood, Irene & Manuel Kuepfer of Milverton, Anita & Carl Wagler, Susan & Peter Albrecht, Mark & Susan Jantzi and Rosanna & Ronald Kuepfer all of Atwood. Sadly missed by his 20 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Remembered by his brothers Norman Jantzi, Dan & Sarah Jantzi, David & Fannie Jantzi, Rueben & Miriam Jantzi and sisters Eva & Sam Zehr, Esther Kuepfer, Martha & Jake Kuepfer, Mary Albrecht, Barbara & Alvin Albrecht, Soloma Jantzi and Elizabeth & Ezra Jantzi.

Predeceased by sister Ruth & Chris Albrecht, brother Joe Jantzi, in-laws Alvin Kuepfer, David Albrecht, Ruth Jantzi, grandson Darryl and great grandson Trevor.

John was a member of the Old Order Amish Church.

Relatives and friends will be received at the home of Mark & Susan Jantzi, 5087 Line 68 RR#2 Atwood on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 1:00pm until Tuesday, February 24, 2026 at 6:00pm. Funeral service will be conducted at the family home on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at 9:00am. Bishop Carl Wagler officiating. Interment to follow in the 7th Line Amish Cemetery, Mornington Township
