Unexpectedly in London on Friday, February 20th, 2026, James “Jimmy Jam” Machine Gun” Kechego of Chippewa of the Thames First Nation in his 64th year.
Cherished son of Joyce (nee: Doxtator) and the late Robert Kechego. Loving father of Ross (Alexis) Kechego. Proud grandpa of Dayton and Zander. Dear brother of Dwayne, the late Denise, Jody, Sam, Robert Jr and Christine. Survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Family will receive friends at the Chippewa Community Centre, 326 Chippewa Road, Muncey on Wednesday, February 25th after 2 pm where the Celebration of James’ Life will be held on Thursday commencing at 11 am. Interment Colborne Cemetery, Chippewa.
