Jennifer Ruth Young

It is with sadness that we announce the passing of **Jennifer Ruth Young**, on **November 2, 2026**, at the age of 90.

Jennifer lived a full and meaningful life in Toronto. She was a strong, generous and caring woman who touched the lives of many people around her.

Jennifer had a great love of books, learning and travel. She was fortunate to travel extensively throughout the world, creating wonderful memories and experiencing many different places and cultures. She was an intelligent and curious woman who spoke five languages, reflecting her lifelong love of learning and the world around her.

Jennifer was predeceased by her beloved husband, Don, and by her parents, Nora and John Lennox, and her brother John. She is survived by her brother, David, and her nephews, Jason and Josh.

She will also be deeply missed by her very special friends, Dr. Jeff Sideman and Roberta Sideman, whose friendship meant so much to her.

Jennifer will be remembered for her strength, generosity, intelligence, love of learning, and adventurous spirit. She leaves behind many cherished memories and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her

A Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, on November 14, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
