JENNINGS, Susan May Jennings

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Susan May Jennings (née Trew), who passed away on June 3, 2026 at the Hospice of Windsor, after a courageous six-year battle with cancer, at the age of 69.

Beloved wife and best friend of 45 years to Bruce Jennings.

Loving and devoted mother to Holly Jennings (Eric Freitas) and Brittany Jennings (Justin Tessier).

Dear sister to Margaret and Elizabeth Trew.

Cherished daughter-in-law to Earl and Effie Jennings. Susan was predeceased by her parents, Ray and Doris Trew.

Susan will be deeply missed by her many extended family members and friends, especially those in Oshawa, Ontario.

Susan was a dedicated teacher at St. Clair College, where she taught in the Architectural and Civil Engineering Department for 23 years.

In her retirement, Susan found joy in spending time with her sewing, quilting, and swimming communities, where she formed many lasting friendships. She also treasured time spent camping and enjoying cottage life in Northern Ontario, especially in Algonquin Park, creating many cherished memories with family and friends.

Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Windsor Chapel Banwell Chapel (11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., Windsor) on Sunday, June 7, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Visitation will continue on Monday, June 8, 2026 for one hour prior to the funeral service, beginning at 10:00 a.m., with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel.  A livestream of the funeral can be found by clicking the following link: https://my.forever.link/susan-jennings
